Policies & Procedures
New Guidelines for Events with Alcohol Served
In an effort to comply with state and federal regulations and effectively manage events, ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ University has obtained a catering liquor permit from the state of Connecticut. As permit managers, the Office of Conference & Event Management is responsible for facilitating all events in which alcohol is either served or sold.
As a service to university departments moving forward, the CEM office will facilitate university sponsored events where alcohol is served. Event coordinators for departments hosting events with alcohol are asked to contact the CEM office two weeks prior to the event to review program needs. Once event detail needs are confirmed, the CEM coordinator will place all orders for alcohol and coordinate additional service needs with the university catering department.
