Luke Davidson ’26 to Represent MAAC on NCAA Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee

Luke Davidson ’26—a rising senior captain on ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ Men's Basketball—has been selected as the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) representative on the NCAA Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Davidson will also serve as the secretary of the MAAC SAAC for the 2025-26 academic year.

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is a vehicle for student-athletes to provide input on pertinent issues. At ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ, each varsity team is represented by at least one student-athlete on SAAC, while MAAC SAAC includes two student-athletes from every member institution.

As a member of the NCAA Division I SAAC, Davidson will confer with peers throughout the nation to make recommendations and provide feedback to leaders and decision-makers at the national level.

Earlier this summer, Davidson was selected to participate in the in Indianapolis.

A co-captain of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ Men’s Basketball in the 2024-25 season, Davidson is a Dean's List student pursuing a double major in sports business and psychology.
